Let's get to know each other
Being a dedicated teenager mental health counsellor, Lukas has seen it all during his 10 years of practice. He knows what it's like to take on the challenges that come with being a teenager in today's society; from social issues, drug use, and transition through higher education into adulthood.
His counselling approach is different from what one would expect because he uses an active approach; from taking a walk, and kicking a footy to shooting hoops. The body naturally releases endorphins when you are moving and physical activity is an important step to create positive change, particularly with young people.
Lukas provides face-to-face counselling for those between 8-25 years old and their families, who live in the suburbs of the City of Kington such as Parkdale, Mordialloc, Cheltenham and Melbourne Bayside area which includes Brighton, Hampton, Sandringham, Blackrock. He also offers services via telehealth (phone and video sessions) to teenagers all over Australia or even further abroad!
